I love Eastside Bivy! It’s such a cute location, and right in the middle of Bishop, CA. I photographed a wedding reception here for an adorable couple—who was able to bring their own coffee shop cart in and hire a BBQ caterer. The outdoor area is beautiful and shaded, with an indoor area with garage-style doors in case of rain or bad weather. It had enough space to seat 50+ guests and still had space for a dance floor and games. The couple and some of their wedding party were able to stay at the hotel as well, which made everything super easy. I would definitely recommend this spot for couples getting married in Bishop!

Great gathering place, very comfortable beds, loved the community room dynamic. Very cute place, great central location for Bishop right on the main street. Only downside was children above us running around, throwing the occasional audible tantrum, but that's no fault of the hotel

Clearly a lot of thought and attention to detail went into this place. Everything was fantastic from my sparkling clean and comfortable micro room to the email and text communications. Terrific option if you want to set up base in Bishop for a Mammoth run.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel welcome and at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. One of the standout features is the community kitchen—fully stocked and well-organized, with designated storage for each guest’s food. It was great having the option to prepare my own meals, adding to the homey feel. The landscaping is beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing environment with cozy hammocks, fire pits, and outdoor games. Whether you’re sipping on a cup of complimentary coffee or tea, lounging outside, or enjoying a game with fellow travelers, there’s always something to do. The common areas, including the couches and lounge spaces, are clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and socialize. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable, which really sets this place apart. Overall, this hotel is the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and community. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home while offering all the perks of a great getaway, this is it! I’ll definitely be returning.

Cute, clean and cosy rooms! The common area is great as well and well equiped! We were happy to relax in a hammock after our hiking day! A perfect location on the way to Yosemite or along the scenic 395! :)

The community areas both inside and out were great. I lounged in hammocks, made streaks and burgers on the grills, and used the stoves and microwave. Complimentary coffees and teas were awesome. The bunk rooms were a little tight, with 6 people, but I was happy with my mattress. The shower had hot water, shampoos, and soaps. And the whole shebang was well located and reasonably priced. I stayed 2 nights twice, and preferred having a bottom bunk, but the top bunk felt more private.

Really cool spot!! Lots of rooms and options. The layout is very nice, with well lit common areas and private rooms as well. The rooms are nice, but we the AC couldn’t be set below 68 degrees so a little warm. In a great location, can walk to lots of restaurants and bars. It’s right next to the bakery which is very nice. We were a little behind schedule and they let us stay in the room another hour past checkout which was very nice. Would definitely stay again, worked out great for us to explore Bishop!
